Sheffield Wednesday were boosted by a goal from one of their strikers on Tuesday evening, despite not playing themselves.
The Owls Portuguese forward, Lucas Joao, was in action on loan at Blackburn Rovers, who faced Wednesday's promotion rivals Fulham in London.
A win for Fulham would have taken them above Wednesday in the Championship table and would have seen the Owls drop out of the top 6. The home side held the lead twice but with the game in injury time Joao popped up to make it 2-2 and seal a point that lifts Rovers out of the relegation zone and keeps Wednesday in the play-off places.
The Owls need to get back to winning ways when they face 5th placed Reading at Hillsborough on Friday and Joao could do his parent club more favours in the remaining games of the season as Blackburn still have play-off hopefuls Preston and Reading to play.
