The defender though remains positive and says that the goal is still getting a secured position in the play-offs and then pushing hopefully for automatic promotion.

He told Footymad: “My verdict so far is that we could do better and should do better. We are still in touch with the play-offs and that is where we want to be.


“When the gaffer came in he said by the new year we have to be there or there abouts and that is what we have to aim for. Come the new year we have to be up there and then push on from there and I can’t see no reason why we can’t.”


“The more teams that are in front of you, the harder it makes for you to get that automatic spot but we are still going to go for that. Although realistically we are pushing for the play-offs and once we are in there then try to get up without having to go to
Cardiff.”
