The Owls striker is looking forward to the game on Saturday and knows it's a must-win clash for the club who have only chalked up one league win so far this campaign.
Barnsley have usually found no trouble scoring goals this season after already netting 15 in the league compared to Wednesday's measly total of six although The Tykes' cavalier approach has also seen then conceded 21 to Paul Sturrock's men's 10.
But according to Tudgay, The Owls are making inroads to getting more goals and that elusive first home win of the season.
He told Footymad: "Barnsley do have a knack of scoring goals and we haven't found that knack yet but we are going to go about that the right way but the break will do us good and we will be looking for the win.
"I don't know much about them this season, I know they can struggle at the back though because they have had quite a lot of goals scored against them but we have to worry about our team and scoring our goals."
Meanwhile, Paul Sturrock is still mulling over the potential signing of French defender Sofiene Zaaboub after he impressed in the reserves' 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town yesterday where Barry Corr scored the only goal.
