The Owls boss has cast his eye over his entire squad already and admitted after the game against United, that Wednesday's season started at '5pm on Saturday'.
He knows who he wants to bring in, but more surprisingly he knows who he may want to offload in the same period.
Sturrock told the club's official site: "In the window, hopefully I'll be bringing players in but, if that happens, some will have to move out.
"I have now made an assessment of every player, bar the long-term injuries: it is clear now who has handled this league and who hasn't."
