Defender makes Stoke move
Ex-Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox has joined Championship rivals Stoke City on a free transfer.
Fox left Hillsborough in July when his contract came to an end having turned down the offer of a new deal.
The 26-year-old joined the Owls from Charlton Athletic in the January transfer window in 2017 and made over 100 appearances for the Owls but found it difficult to settle into the side initially and has been part of a team that has been on the decline in recent seasons.
Fox is the first Owls player released this summer to confirm a move, others have been linked with new clubs such as Steven Fletcher, who has also been attracting interest from Stoke as well as Celtic, while Fernando Forestieri has been linked with a return to Watford.
