Wednesday make changes for trip to Rangers
Sheffield Wednesday manager Jos Luhukay has chosen to freshen up his side for tonight's game at Queens Park Rangers as the Owls look to bounce back from their first defeat in 5 games at the hands of Fulham last weekend.
With 3 games in 8 days the Owls boss has made 4 changes to his starting line up with Palmer, Thorniley, Jones and perhaps most significantly Forestieri coming back into the side. The diminutive forward has not started since August due to injury and comes into an attacking line up with Joao and Nuhiu continuing up front. Barry Bannan, injured in the first half at Hillsborough on Saturday, has not made the squad but could be in contention for the weekend fixture at Fulham.
QPR manager Ian Holloway will be looking for a response from his team after they were trounced 4-0 at Hull at the weekend. Captain Nedum Onuoha was sent off late on in that defeat and so is suspended. Creative midfielder Massimo Luongo misses out due to illness, Alex Baptiste, Idrissa Sylla, Jack Robinson and young striker Paul Smyth all come into the starting 11.
A win for either side will all but ensure Championship safety and the Owls can overtake QPR in the table if they can win by 3 goals or more. The two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough in the first month of the season.
