Even when the vote to re-elect Dave Allen as chairman went through, they forgot totally about the other disgruntled supporters in the other room and had to have a recount!
Allen was voted back into power at a stormy meeting, where shareholders vented their feelings at the current board and the state of the club.
Casino owner Allen did vow to the masses that the club would no go into administration, and that would only be a last resort.
He also added that never in the club's long history have directors being so financially involved with keeping the club afloat, as he paid for Adam Proudlock's transfer fee from Wolves and Mark Robbins' wages out of his own pocket.
Other key points included Allen backing Chris Turner, by stating that Wednesday have had too much upheaval in the last few years to think about changing a manager yet again. Turner is half way into a two-and-a-half year and the chairman claims that the former Owls goalkeeper 'knows what has to be done.'
But he reaffirmed his desire to sell Middlewood training ground in a bid to cut the massive £24million debt by claiming it was the club's only saleable asset.
With Ken Bates though waiting in the wings, it will certainly be an interesting few weeks off the field.
