Only Graham Lee and David Lucas came out with favourable reports with a handful of others doing well but 'could do better' will be marked at the bottom of most player's report slips, now the rest of the class will be judged accordingly.
MIDFIELDERS
Terry Cooke - After starting at the best school in the land, Terry has had many different teachers and classmates. He came in at the beginning of term to do well but did not get to school much because of a bad leg. Mark C.
Alan Quinn - Impressive student who deserves to be at a better school. Went to learn up north and Hillsborough Elementary missed him. Always worked hard but spent too much time in detention for being a bad boy. Mark B.
Craig Armstrong - Always tries to write with his left although can hardly pick the pen up with that hand. Very poor student but could come back in the summer, should be expelled. Mark F.
Ricahrd Evans - Very enthusiastic youngster who will be around next term, we need to see more of him to make a proper opinion. Mark B-.
Paul Smith - Average pupil who could do well given enough time, although missed more school than what he should have because of frequent trips to the medical room. Mark C+.
Paul McLaren - Has all the ability in the world but finds it hard to focus on his work. Went missing too many times last term both in the classroom and by constantly seeing the nurse. Mark C-.
Robbie Mustoe - One of the oldest in the school along with Kevin and he was brought in to bring stability to the classroom but failed to do that, in fact he kept going more annoyingly sideways and backwards than forward. Mark C.
Adam Chambers - Brought in from a higher school and he must wish he never left. Did not pull up any trees at Hillsborough Elementary and will not be missed. Mark D-.
Michael Reddy - Student exchange program with Alan and did very well. Although ran around the class like a headless chicken sometimes, he impressed in some lessons but not in others. Mark B-.
Mark Wilson - Student who only came to class three times. Made a great impression for his first lesson but dropped off significantly afterwards. Mark C.
Chris Brunt - A very good student who only met his classmates towards the end of term. Showed enough promise and ability to be kept on and hopefully will prosper next season. Mark A-.
Lewis McMahon - Like Chris, came in late but did very well indeed. Stuck to the basic lessons well and was head and shoulders above both Paul M and Robbie. Mark A-.
FORWARDS
Shefki Kuqi - Many thought he would be the star pupil but he wanted to leave for a better school. Did not try very hard in lessons and eventually got his transfer. Mark C.
Lloyd Owusu - Been at schools of similar level before and big things were expected but left after only a handful of good classes out of the term. Mark C.
Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu - Brought in from a school in France, this young and exotically-named Congolese pupil showed lots of promise by winning student of the year. Still very raw but has lots of time to improve. Mark B+.
Grant Holt - Student brought in from a school of a very low standard. Despite lots of hard work, he did not have the quality to make it at Hillsborough Elementary. Mark D.
Adam Proudlock - A very talented pupil who did not assert himself as much as he should have. Bullied because of his weight throughout the term, he will be back next season to show us his true ability. Mark C-.
Mark Birchill - Awfully disappointing pupil who did not do anything remarkable in class, has since vanished off of the face of the earth. Mark D.
Mark Robins - Only came in for a short period but did well. But could be very lazy in class sometimes. Mark B-.
Kim Olsen - Import who has very limited ability, although he has been very quiet causing no problems for absolutely anybody. Mark D-.
Jon Shaw - Started very, very slowly but despite not being the quickest out of the blocks, he quietly got on with his work to become on of the star pupils. Mark B.
