Corr, who has been one of Paul Sturrock's favourite performers of late, injured his back preparing for the Sheffield United game with a stress-related problem.
It's a massive blow for the 20-year-old Irishman who has played well, especially away from home and been a focal point of Wednesday's attacking play - despite not getting any goals.
Talbot meanwhile, one of the heroes of the victory in Cardiff is suffering from a similar problem and rumours suggest that he could miss the rest of the campaign.
The former Barnsley youngster has not played even in the reserves this season and by the time he gets back to full fitness, the season could be over.
With Talbot and Corr both struggling, it leaves Sturrock with Steve MacLean, Marcus Tudgay and Deon Burton as the club's only attacking options.
