Sheffield Wednesday will return from their short pre-season trip to Holland satisfied with their workout as they completed 2 wins from 2 games this evening, beating Stormvogels Telstar 3-0.
The Owls made six changes to the side that started in the win over Haarlem with Richard Wood featuring for the first time and new boy James O'Connor starting in midfield.
Fellow new signing Jimmy Smith sat the game out having picked up a knock on Tuesday and O'Connor was replaced before half-time in this match by Jermaine Johnson.
Wednesday spurned a number of chances in the first 45 minutes and the score was 0-0 at the break but Marcus Tudgay headed in a cross from Tommy Spurr on the hour mark and half-time substitute Deon Burton doubled the lead shortly afterwards.
Jermaine Johnson completed the scoring on 68 minutes with a well taken finish following a mazy run.
The Owls now return to home soil to play a number of friendlies here in England as they continue their build-up to the first game of the new season-at home to Burnley on Saturday August 9th.
