The former Derby and Rotherham striker has made a massive impact since joining from the Millmoor outfit in January and his goals recently have helped Wednesday survive.
But the Jamaican international thinks that some of the players who have been here all season have to take as much credit as the likes of Scott Carson, Marcus Tudgay and himself personally for their impact this campaign.
He told Footymad: "It has been a hard season but for more of the players it has been a hard year but we are safe now and that's all what matters. To be honest I was worried about my place because I haven't been part of the team recently that has been doing so well but the lads did well but even though we are safe we didn't want things to fade away, we wanted to keep our run going against Reading. Tommy (Spurr) did well. He came in for his debut and Drissa (Diallo) coming back from injury: they both did tremendously and they both deserve a massive pat on the back.
"If you look at the squad, not many have played at this level, mainly in the lower leagues or reserve-team football so to keep our heads above water and to do as well as we have been doing means that things are looking good already for next season.
"Personally the first few weeks I was here I needed to find my feet a little because playing at league one level, it's not as fast and I don't think that I was up to the tempo but as time has gone on I have done well, I enjoy training with the team and things have gone well. There is a bit of a change from what I was playing at last year but at the end of the day you still have to get into the same positions hopefully the goals will come and thankfully they did!"
