The former Leeds striker has started against Cardiff and came on during the second half on Tuesday against Plymouth and despite looking raw, he still thinks he can be an asset to the club.
"It felt good to get on," Corr told Footymad about his substitute appearance on Tuesday. "Obviously I came on with half an hour to go and did ok but when a team like Plymouth come here, who are around us in the table we really have to be looking to win the game. We were putting them under pressure so it was a good time to come on, we kind of huffed and puffed without ever getting the breakthrough – it was disappointing but it was a decent second half performance."
Corr came to Hillsborough last season but did not make his first appearance until a fleeting cameo at Leicester in September - but the young Irishman is just hoping to get more chances now he is fully fit.
"It has been a bit stop-start for me this season," he said. "I did about three weeks in the summer and in the first game I got an injury and I have been chasing shadows ever since. When I played against Cardiff last week it was very much of a last-minute thing and I was thrown in because Lee Peacock was injured – I wasn’t really mentally prepared and I don’t think I did that well but I think I need a few more games and then things will get better.
"I had a long spell out injured at Leeds with my knee when I was there for two years but from the halfway stage last season I started playing games and needless to say at this level I am still finding my feet. But I am capable of playing, I need a few more games and then I will be fine."
