Sheffield Wednesday travel to the West Midlands on Saturday looking to record their second win of the season against Aston Villa. The two sides met in the biggest clash of the opening weekend of the Championship season with Fernando Forestieri's late goal settling the game in the Owls favour.
Wednesday are likely to continue to be without centre-back Tom Lees and the fitness of key midfielder Sam Hutchinson will be assessed. Gary Hooper has been on the verge of a return for some time now but is only likely to be on the bench at best having missed around 5 months.
Callum McManaman missed the midweek draw with Burton due to a minor injury and fellow wide midfielder Ross Wallace was withdrawn with a knock in the second half, both are doubtful for Saturday's game.
Villa also have a fair amount of players out injured including strikers Scott Hogan and Gabriel Agbonlahor, midfielders Jack Grealish and Birkir Bjarnason and defenders Ritchie De Laet and Alan Hutton.
They will also be without Leandro Bacuna as he is serving a 6-match suspension.
Wednesday have won 5 of their last 8 games but needed to maintain their form with Fulham pushing hard for a top 6 place just behind them.
Aston Villa lost last time out at 3rd placed Huddersfield but won their previous 3 without conceding a goal.
The Owls last visit to Villa Park resulted in a 1-0 victory in the League Cup in 2001 but they have only won 1 of their last 8 league games there.
