Sheffield Wednesday have allowed striker Sergiu Bus to return to his native Romania where he will join FC Astra Giurgiu on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old moved to Hillsborough from CSKA Sofia in 2015 when Stuart Gray was the manager but he has rarely had a look in under Carlos Carvalhal and in almost 2 years with the Owls he featured only 10 times for the first team, scoring 1 goal.
Wednesday have a big squad and are keen to reduce the wage bill by allowing some of the fringe players to leave as a number of new players have already arrived at S6 in the January transfer window.
