Bullen, the well-travelled utility man who has become a instant favourite at Hillsborough, waxes lyrical about defensive partner Patrick Collins and fledgling Ross Greenwood.
Collins, the former Sunderland defender who was a great find by Chirrs Turner has been ever present this season and has arguably been Wednesday's most consistent player this season.
Bullen told Footymad: "Patrick Collins has been excellent, superb. He steps into the left side of central defence after playing right back for most of the season with the greatest of ease - he has shown tremendous maturity for his age and puts in a composed performance one after another.
The 33-year-old Scot is still impressed by Greenwood's debut against Coventry last week and thinks that the young right back will have a good future in the game.
Bullen added: "It would be unfair to do an interview and not mention how well Ross Greenwood did against Coventry. For me, a young lad to come in on his debut in a crucial game and put in a man of the match performance is absolutely outstanding.
"The kid’s only 18 and for him to come in under that sort of pressure especially with all the things going on off the pitch is brilliant."
