The Northern Ireland international has been in and out of the team recently but is still a team player - and says that the Owls' form on the road should be good enough to get the win.
He told Footymad: "It will be a tough game. Luton are playing very well at the moment but we have picked up recently as well.
"Our away form is good and our home form is getting better. But we are confident we can pick up all three points there."
The team has certainly had a change in fortune now Paul Sturrock has weaved his magic wand and Brunt admits things are now the way the fans initially hoped they would.
He added: "At the start of the season there were lots of expectations from Chris Turner and the fans. But the new team took a bit of time to gel and fortunately the new gaffer’s got us playing the right way and we are hoping to push on from there."
Meanwhile, Guy Branston has left Hillsborough for a month on loan at Peterborough.
The former Rotherham defender has had a spell at London Road before and Posh boss is one of his biggest admirers.
