The versatile defender has played in every single position for Wednesday including two stints in goal and is currently fighting for a new deal.
Bullen's contract expires in the summer and the Scottish star is hoping to make it a third year at Hillsborough.
Laws, speaking after Wednesday's 1-0 on Friday night, praised Bullen for his work ethic and whole-hearted approach.
He told The Star: "Sometimes he may lack the attributes that some other Championship defenders have, but he makes up for that with tremendous heart.
"He'll give everything for Sheffield Wednesday. He was exceptionally good against West Brom. "If you ask him to play in a position, he'll apply himself wholeheartedly, as he also showed last season."
