Wednesday looked tired during the stalemate with The Clarets but the point was a welcome one and the club's four-game unbeaten streak continues.
He said after the game: "It was the game after the Lord Mayor's show. We looked very sluggish and there wasn't the edge we've shown over the last two weeks.
"When five or six of your players say they are out on their feet you have to listen to that. We've done a lot of hard work on the training ground and I need to make sure we've got the legs next Saturday.
"I think a draw was a fair result because Burnley had a couple of clear cut chances they maybe should have done better with, but if someone had told me we'd increase our pointage on third-bottom I'd have taken it and I'm glad we're still unbeaten in for games."
