Sheffield Wednesday have secured the services of Blackburn Rovers forward Leon Best for the remainder of the season.
The former Newcastle striker has been on loan at Hillsborough for the past month and has now agreed a deal to stay on with the Owls.
Best has bagged one goal in his current spell, in the F.A. Cup defeat to Charlton and he has contributed to important wins against Huddersfield and Middlesbrough. He saw his first half penalty at Wigan saved in midweek, which proved costly as the Owls suffered a 1-0 defeat and he will be hoping to make amends in Saturday's home clash with Birmingham City.
