Sheffield Wednesday have today been boosted by the arrival on centre forward Leon Best. The Blackburn Rovers striker has signed a 1-month loan deal at the club where he featured 13 times on loan during the 2005/06 season.
Best has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons and has played just 16 times for Blackburn since signing for them from Newcastle in 2012.
The powerful 27-year-old striker has been granted permission to play for the Owls in the F.A. Cup and therefore is in contention to make his debut in Saturday's 5th round tie with Charlton at Hillsborough.
