Sheffield Wednesday central defender Martin Taylor has had his loan spell with League One side Brentford extended for another month. The experienced centre-back joined the Bees in September and will now remain with the London club until November 3rd.
Taylor has featured in 4 games fro Brentford so far, winning 2 and losing 2 and popping up with 2 goals in the process.
The 33-year-old joined the Owls at the end of the 2012 summer transfer window but has been unable to hold down a regular place in the Wednesday side. This season he has found himself behind the likes of Anthony Gardner, Kamil Zayatte and Miguel Llera in the pecking order at Hillsborough. Despite Gardner picking up a serious injury last month the Owls opted to allow Taylor to go out on loan, choosing to bring in Wolves defender Roger Johnson on a 3-month loan spell to plug the gap.
