Sheffield Wednesday forward Chris Maguire has been allowed to join League One side Coventry City on loan until 5th January.
Maguire joined the Owls from Derby County in the summer of last year but found first team opportunities hard to come by in his first season at the club and has had even less of a look in so far in the current campaign.
The Scottish striker will hope to get more time on the pitch with the Sky Blues but may have to take up a wide position rather than a central striking role as City's strike partnership of Leon Clarke and Callum Wilson have been on fire so far this season. Coventry have also signed Barnsley forward Chris Dagnall on loan today.
Maguire follows young striker Caolan Lavery in flying the Owls nest this month. Lavery joined League 2 side Plymouth on a similar loan deal last week.
